Adoption

In this area of law, we assist clients in applying for guardianship applications under the Guardianship of Infants Act as well for formal adopting proceedings under the Adoption Act. The would include both Singapore born and Foreign born children. A Petition needs to be filed with the Family Court for Adoption and thereafter we will represent the parties in the Family Court to seek the necessary consents and approvals. We have successfully represented our clients in numerous occasions in obtaining the approval of the Family Court and Director of Social Welfare for both guardianship and adoption applications.
